Based on a postcard depicting Durango CO in the 1800's. The image showed Main Ave and 9th Street and the most prominent building was the First National Bank. A heavy blue cloud hovers near where the "hanging tree" was in the photo. A nightclub brawler was lynched there in 1881.

I love the shanty town that pops up every winter on the lagoon near by. The little shacks sit there quietly on sunny days and through storms. They are temporary homes for hopeful fishermen.
